The Movement Lab is a team of theatre teachers and industry
professionals regularly offering specialist training workshops in mask,
movement, improvisation and theatre styles.
Our workshops and bespoke programmes explore the principles and
the poetry that underlie the craft of the actor, director and deviser.
We provide a multi-faceted approach to character development, ensemble scene
work and devised physical theatre. By placing the body at the centre of the
creative process we offer a fresh understanding of how to exact existing
theatre forms and construct new work.
Our team have taught at a number of UK drama schools including LAMDA, RADA, LISPA, RCSSD, Rose Bruford, ALRA, RBC, Fourth Monkey, Met Film School, and The Brit School.
